I’m convinced!

When Daniel Kraft and I were thinking about Sitrion’s company mission Unlock the power of connected people, we knew it couldn’t be a hollow phrase.

So how do you deliver such a promise? What products did we have at that point and where did we want to go. Daniel has been writing about the change in the market and our role, and the how we believe mobile is the way to achieve our mission.

While I vigorously defend the social enterprise opportunity – I’m even being called Mr. Social in the Management team, I also realize that achieving full adoption using our existing product set has always been a challenge. In many businesses it is not evident that all people are “enabled” to continuously participate in conversations and innovation due to their role or location.

What if you’re business is in retail or manufacturing and many, if not most, of your fellow workers don’t have access to a computer screen all day? How do you tell them what the company is all about and ask for feedback? How can you seriously believe you are an innovative organization if half of your workforce can’t even participate and share their ideas?! And then there are the simple tasks that people need to do every day. Our customers tell us that the only way to reach everyone is via their mobile devices, but they all struggle to provide their organizations with proper solutions.

Yes I am Mr. Social –and proud of it – and I believe that the only way forward for any organization is one where everyone can participate and its culture is based on social principals and mutual respect. That’s why I firmly believe in our future with Sitrion ONE. One app that allows me to do all the things to stay connected and get things done. Guess what – that’s our vision: Make work better and empower people to get things done.

By the way, being a social company I also believe that our responsibility goes beyond the borders of our company. In EMEA we proudly partner with the Laureus Foundation – a charitable organization that aims to improve the lives of children through sports. On May 2nd we are involved in a sensational fundraiser: the Laureus All Stars vs. the Real Madrid Legends. Some of the best soccer athletes like Clarence Seedorf, Edwin van der Sar, Emilio Butragueño and Fernando Morientes are playing a unique match for a great cause. Be there if you can!
