Last week I was lucky enough to be invited to present with one of our valued customers – The Hershey Company (yup, the chocolate guru) – at ASUG 2015, the annual conference for the Americas SAP User Group.
I am a full-time working mom of two young boys. Like most working parents I have a busy life and struggle to juggle family and work on a daily basis. I am lucky to be able to work from home which allows me greater flexibility in how I achieve this balance. But I am still conscious of my most precious and limited resource – time.
So why is it important to look beyond internal communications when planning for successful adoption of enterprise social? Mainly because internal communications are not typically integral to getting your daily work done - and that factor is critical to social success.
Rob Koplowitz, Forrester Research VP and Principal Analyst, seems to know a lot about teenagers. Maybe that’s because he has a teenage son, but maybe it's because he works in the rapidly maturing field of enterprise social and SharePoint.
