Have you ever wondered what life would be like if you were a doctor? I imagine it has to feel great to help people overcome sickness, disease, and injury so they can get back to living a full life. So what does being a doctor have to do with technology?
Three years ago at this time I attended my first Collective as a Microsoft employee who was responsible for growing the Sitrion (then NewsGator) business on the Microsoft platform. 24 months later I am now attending my third Collective as part of the Sitrion team.
For those of you who don’t know me, I lead our alliances and partnerships at Sitrion. To give you some perspective, I wrote this blog from 35K feet while on my way home from back-to-back tradeshows. The first one was the SharePoint Conference in Las Vegas, then I was onto Orlando for the SAPinsider HR Conference.
What a great kick-off to the NewsGator Collective in Denver. The theme is clear: the future of work is social and we are in the process of making history — those who successfully adopt social into their businesses will thrive, and those that don’t will go the way of the naysayers who thought the telephone, automobile, and computers were just fads.
