Sometimes all you need is a simple tool for a simple job—but when you don’t have that tool, you end up trying to use something else.
For example, imagine you want to track whether or not employees have read a new policy update. If you don’t have a specific tool for tracking these kinds of affirmations, you might try creating a custom list on SharePoint. That would take a while to set up, and unless all your users are familiar with lists in SharePoint, you’ll probably have some support challenges. You might try sending everyone an email with instructions to reply with “I read it.” However, that would require going through all the emails one-by-one and trying to see who has replied and who sent back another response. In this case, all you really need is a simple way to record “yes” answers to a simple question.
That’s why I’m excited about a new feature we just added to Sitrion ONE. We call this the Confirmation Card.

Creating this is as simple as putting in a headline, some instructions, a link to the security policy, and a button label set to “Yes.” Then you just have to target this to the appropriate audiences, send a push notification if you want, and the work is done. From an end-user point of view, it’s as simple as clicking the link to read the document and then clicking the button to confirm.
As the author of this card, you will get summary statistics on the number of recipients and the number of confirmations. You can also view all the individual responses and search for any particular user.
You can use a card like this to track confirmations of anything—who is coming to the company picnic, who is participating in the blood donor drive, etc. This combination of simplicity and flexibility to solve many different scenarios is a great example of our mission to make work better. It sure feels good to make it easier for everyone to just say “yes.”
