To install the Hub, please make sure that the machine where you install the hub has the following prerequisites:

Operating System

Windows 10, Windows 7 Service Pack 1, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2012 R2

.NET Framework 4.6 (Full Installation)

The configuration settings are stored in a SQL database. This requires a SQL Server instance (2008 or higher)

The hub requires outbound access on HTTP ports 80 and 443 and the TCP port ranges 5671-5672 and 9350-9354.

Since the Sitrion ONE platform is hosted on Microsoft Azure Datacenters, for the machine hosting the hub install, we suggest allowing outbound access to any IP address. Should you have a need to target only specific outbound IP's, Microsoft offers the Windows Azure Datacenter IP Ranges here:

The Sitrion Hub supports connections to your cloud tenant using either the HTTP 1.1 protocol or the TCP protocol. The TCP protocol will give the end user the most performant connection but requires the hub to have a direct outbound connection to the Azure Datacenter. If a direct connection is not possible, the HTTP 1.1 protocol is available to allow for a proxied connection.

Note: Running the Sitrion ONE hub in HTTP mode will negatively affect performance.  The preferred configuration is to use the TCP protocol.

ONE is currently hosted in the following Azure datacenters:

- West US (California)
- West Europe (Netherlands)

If the given scenarios connect to certain backend systems, the hub machine also requires connectivity to the given backend systems (e.g. SharePoint, SAP, ...).

The Hub itself is a powerful, but lightweight component. Based on this, the hardware requirements for the Hub are corresponding to the given operating system and installed features (e.g. SQL Server, .NET Framework).

As a suggestion we give the following requirements:

- Single CPU with minimum of two cores
- 4 GB RAM
- 10 GB free disk space

- 2 CPU's (each with a minimum of 2 cores)
- 8 GB RAM
- 10 GB free disk space

Of course the hub can run also in a virtualized environment.
